I've collected and listed a number of websites that can help you be successful with your studies in language arts and mathematics this school year. I hope you will find them to be useful.

Useful links
Spell a Roo: Spellaroo can hop better than he can spell. Click on the word that is spelled wrong. If you get twenty right, you will go to the "Land of Joeys". To start, click on a level.
Scramble-Saurus: If the Scramble-Saurus could spell better, he may not be extinct. See if you can help him out by unscrambling the words. He'll help you out by giving some clues.
Spell Check: The computer will give twenty sets of four words. Place a check next to the word which is spelled wrong. Spell the word you checked correctly in the box. If you get all twenty problems correct, you can put your name on our leader board. Click on a level.
Short Circuit: Maggie needs help fixing a short circuit in her computer, and she needs your help. By linking the prefixes and suffixes to their meaning, you can really help her out.
Fish ‘Em Up!: Are you ready to fish for words? Use fishing rods to catch the correct words in the water. Do you need to double the consonant or change the Y? You'll find out if you Fish 'Em Up.
Mad Libs: Have fun reading the wacky tales that you create.

Paint By Idioms: Idioms add color to language. Help FunBrain.com's grand master, Salvabear Dali, finish his paintings by identifying the correct expression. Choose a theme, game option , and character you’d like to paint to begin the game.
Edit Dan’s Copy: Dan needs your help in editing his news report. You can pick Level 1 for capital letters and final punctuation or pick Level 2 for run-on sentences, quotation marks, and apostrophes.
Grammar Gorillas: The Grammar Gorillas, need help identifying parts of speech.
The Plural Girls: Choose the correct plural form of the given word.
Power Proofreading: Proofread TV scripts, memos and other written documents.
2Bee or Nottoobee: Choose the correct verb to complete the sentence.

The Letter Generator: Learn the parts of a letter and then create your own.

Game: Who Wants to be a Mathonaire?
Math Fighter: Game/Shoot the equation with the number that fits. Choose from even numbers, odd numbers, primes, multiples of 3 and 7, squares, powers of 2. If you're feeling really mathematical, test your wits with the random selection. Then shoot the numbers on the ducks to complete the game. The ducks quack when you're correct - you'll know when you're wrong!! Happy hunting!
