Week of April 23-April 27

This week we will be working on the future tense. We will be viewing the video of Senor Jordan and how to create the future tense. We will complete a packet Unit 3 The future tense (pps. 120-123). The future tense is a simple tense to construct and it translates to "will".
If you are having any difficulties at this point it would be beneficial for you to come to extra help. You can also come to my room second and sixth periods for help as well. We are starting to prepare for the final and for a successful end of the year.
Week of April 29- May 4, 2018
Continue working on the future tense with a new packet. Watch the Jordan videos for the future tense of regular and irregular verbs. Write 15 sentences in the future tense with 10 regular verbs and 5 irregular verbs. Write a guided composition in class about your future. You may use the future tense or you can use present tense or you can use the IR + A + infinitive.

This week we will also be reading an article from El Sol magazine.The article speaks of the real cost of buying clothes that are inexpensive. It goes into how the fashion industry has exploited child and others in developing countries. We will discuss these issues and do the corresponding worksheet with vocabulary phrases and personal questions.

Monday 5/7
Complete the article and the vocabulary. Define the questions for homework and if you can answer them you will be given extra credit
Tuesday 5/8
Work on more magazine articles and questions due to teacher absence.
Wednesday 5/9
Work on some occupations and professions now that we are doing future tense. Master 17 matches the profession to what that person does. Master19 Una variedad de profesiones-defining all the professions.
Do master 18 for homework matching the places to the professions.
Do master 33 for extra credit.
Thursday 5/10
Begin class with answering the question...What will you be in the future?
Go to professions packet and review las profesiones y los lugares Master 18 which was the homework. Go back to Master 19 and set up the categories 1-10 and do the checklist. Categories are on google classroom.
Give out a new packet for future tense. Do exercise B on page 90 for homework. Look out for the irregular verbs and the reflexives.
