CHOLET UPDATE - November 3, 2008
Hello Everyone.
Once again, I'd like to thank you all for the role you played in making this year's exchange a success. Giving up your home, time, money and energy is A LOT!! MERCI!!
When I stepped onto the bus to see if there were 26 French students (and 0 Americans), there were quite a few teary eyes. The Choletais truly did enjoy their time here and many wanted to stay. And this morning I received a nice e-mail from a Cholet parent.
I saw one mother on Saturday morning who told me that when the family returned home after the bus left, they found a nice note from their guest.
Besides thanking you, I want to point out a few things you can find on line.
1. More pictures! Take a look at some of the pages that were already posted. Some have new pictures added.
2. T-shirt order forms. If you'd like one, please complete the form and return to me (with payment - $7 each) by Friday, November 14.
3. A recipe! Mrs. Kobal sent me a recipe for a dessert called "Banoffee". I translated it into French, copied it and planned to pass it out to the French students Friday night. I forgot.
