Hi Again Everyone!
As I was hoping to day, I can share some information regarding the trip.
First, I'd like to make you aware of
this page . This will be home base for all information on this trip. You'll notice the link to the Updates Page. If you ever need an update and can't find the e-mail, you'll see it here. (It also comes in handy when someone new wants to get caught up on all past information!). I may eventually start a Facebook page for this to assist in communications. For now, you may want to check out the "Important Costs".
The travel company that will organize the non-Cholet portion of our trip is EF Tours , a company that has been organizing student trips since 1965. The tour that we will take is called Paris and the Chateaux. This is the same tour that we took in 2009, however in 2011 we will consider the two-day extension to the French Riviera. This adds $485 to the cost.
The cost for adults is $335 more than the student costs
The prices you see on the EF site are based on our departure city being Erie. We may choose Pittsburgh or Cleveland instead. Doing so would knock approximately $300 off our cost. We would then need to come up with a plan to get from Erie to that town.
