CHOLET EXCHANGE UPDATE - October 17, 2011
Dear Host Families,
Rolling with it! When I prepare students for our trips to France, I try to make it clear that sometimes things won’t go the way we had planned. On those occasions, we need to “roll with it”. That sure turned out to be the case while our Cholet friends were on their way here. Thank you all for your cooperation, patience and for “rolling with it"!
Tomorrow. For Niagara Falls (and for all field trip days), we’ll pull out of FHS at 7:45 from the north parking lot. So, there’s no need to take the Cholet kids to HR. You can leave them in the cafeteria. If we get the bus loaded early, we can hit the road early. Since they’ll be away for lunch and dinner, be sure they are prepared. It looks like a cool but non-rainy day. Have your phone chains handy tomorrow evening. Our target return time is 10:30. I will start the chain when we cross the PA border with a more definite time. Remember, even if you receive a text, PLEASE make the next phone call on the chain. I’ll also request that the last person in each line please call me so I can be assured that everyone got the message. Merci!
