CHOLET EXCHANGE UPDATE - February 4, 2014 - "Website & First Fund Raiser"

Dear Travelers and Families,
Bonjour! Way back in October I promised periodic updates regarding our trip. This is the first (in case you’re wondering if you’ve missed any). I’ll keep this one brief, only addressing two items. I was hoping to get an update out last Friday (would’ve been cool on the “500 days to go” mark). Oh well.
1. The website. All the information you’ll need can be found here:
here (http://www.quia.com/pages/rhall/page519). Please take some time to check out what is there. You’ll see the top link is called “All the updates you’ve received”. That’s the only link whose content will change periodically. All of the others will pretty much remain as they are now. When I post new updates, I will simply send e-mails linking you to this page.
2. The first fund raiser. Thanks to Mrs. Williams (Tasha’s mom) we are ready to start our first fund raiser – Pulakos chocolate bars. Those of you who choose to participate will receive a box containing 40 candy bars. You will earn a profit of $18 for each box you sell (selling each bar for $1.00). Each box needs to be paid for in advance, so in order to start, you will need to pay $22 up front for your first box (or $44 if you’d like to start with two boxes, and so on). With each box that follows, you can simply pay with the money you take in from sales on the previous boxes.
Mrs. Williams will be our liaison to Pulakos and will take care of picking up the candy on an “as-needed” basis. All she needs is to know how many boxes to pick up (and your $22). Feel free to e-mail her at teefatdaddy@yahoo.com. The students can bring the money to me or leave it in the office for Mrs. Terry Williams. (She works at FHS and has a mailbox here.)
