Permission Slip for Pittsburgh Field trip
Itinerary revised October 13. All students will tour the Warhol at the same time (but split into two groups). All students will take Ducky Boat tours at the same time (but will be on two different boats).
Note: Students need to pack a lunch. We will eat along the riverfront.
7:45 am
Leave FHS north parking lot.
10:15 Guided tours of the Andy Warhol Museum,
the largest museum in the world dedicated to a single artist. Warhol, a Pittsburgh native, was a forerunner in the "Pop Art" movement. On display are thousands of paintings, photographs, sculptures and more.
1:30 (must arrive at 1:00) Ducky Boat Tour Travel the streets of the business and cultural districts of Pittsburgh on a bus that becomes a boat, taking you into one of the city's three rivers for some beautiful views.
3:30 pm
Students will board the bus and travel to the Grove City Outlets. While there, they can shop, buy dinner or eat a packed meal.
7:00 pm
Students will board the bus and return to Fairview.
8:00 pm
Approximate time of return to FHS.
Cost: $33. Pay when you turn in your permission slip. Payment may be in cash or check payable to Fairview High School.
