CHOLET EXCHANGE UPDATE – May 26, 2017

Bonjour à tous! [3 weeks from today we’ll be in Cholet!]
Just a few things.
1. Parent Meeting Before break I had mentioned the possibility of having a meeting for parents. I’m sorry to say that may now be tough to fit in. If there are any questions you have, please let me know. I will share my answers with all of the group just in case anyone else says, “oh yeah, I was wondering about that, too!”
2. Tips The French Club voted on Wednesday to donate $300 to subsidize your tips. Thanks to that, the amount that I would have asked you for ($80) is now just $47. If you would, please bring me a check (payable to Robert Hall) by Friday, June 2. Merci!
3. Phone numbers If it’s necessary to contact you, I will do so by text unless a phone call is more appropriate. I have set up a “Remind” account, but since I’m new to that, I’d like to have the numbers, too. Please send a text to me (814-392-4524) with your name. I’ll set up two groups for texts (one for students, one for parents). I will also test them next week.
4. Hotel info I received the hotel info yesterday. I will pass that on a bit later, along with the time frame for our departure day.
5. Your fund raiser profits Checks have been requested and you should receive them soon. I will send individual messages to each student with the amount (or just tell you when I see you next week - I need to pack for Louisville - leaving at 4:30 am).
