CHOLET EXCHANGE UPDATE – October 15, 2022
(Day 3!)
Hello Host Families,
I have five quick items for you today.
1. Merci! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! We got things rolling very late on Thursday evening and everyone made it to the school! And everyone made it on time Friday morning!! (Part of me wondered how many “my French student won’t wake up for school - what should I do” messages I’d receive. NONE! Things are going well so far.
2. les photos Thanks to those of you who have passed along pictures. You can continue to do so. I believe you also have the capability on Facebook to add to the photo albums I will create for each day. Or just add pictures! I’ll try to get those albums ready early the next day. 3. lundi: Cleveland Remember to pack lunches. We will use the Remind app to keep you up to date on their return time that evening. (It seemed to work well on Thursday!) You can see the itinerary

4. Madame Chupin You may have heard that one of the three teachers, Madame Isabelle Chupin (who is staying with Mrs. Magraw) tested positive for COVID early last week and had to delay her trip to Fairview. She will arrive Monday evening. Mrs. Magraw and I will drive to the Cleveland airport to pick her up. As we travel west on I-90, we may even see the FHS bus traveling east after the excursion.
5. Amusez-vous! I see you have a lot of events planned for this weekend - already in progress as I write this. Have fun! We're taking the Cholet teachers to an Otters game tonight.
