Cedar Point (http://www.cedarpoint.com) is open on weekends through the end of October. On Fridays rides are limited, but on Saturdays and Sundays all rides are available.

Have a small party or get together and invite some of the other exchange students and their hosts students. This has been done a few times during the last few exchanges and they we well received. If your exchange student is invited to one of these parties, then that’s one less night that you need to organize. You may need to contact other families to avoid the possibility of too much happening on one night.
You may even want to plan your own little excursion to anywhere you want. Including some of your guest’s friends could make it nicer for them. And their hosts could do the
same in return.

some new games!
The Erie Otters have two home games during the 2025 exchange. The first is on their first Saturday (10/11 vs. Sudbury). The second is Friday the 17th, but that's the Niagara Falls day.
Double DAB stables
is fun for riding horses, nice trail ride, and they have a little petting zoo.
The Allegheny National Forest has Kinzua Bridge State Park and Kinzua Skywalk
Peek'n Peak has fall fest on October 11-12 and 18-19.
You could also look into canoeing at Cook Forest
