2009 Champs Sports Bowl

We have the opportunity to perform at the BGA Champs Bowl in Orlando, Florida this year!
Dates are: December 27, 2009 through December 31, 2009
Itinerary: Dec 26th – possible travel day (1/2 way)
Dec 27th - travel day, evening rehearsal & choreography
Dec 28th – morning rehearsal, Universal Studios
Dec 29th – morning dress rehearsal, halftime performance
Dec 30th – Disney World and free time
Dec 31st – Depart for home (approx 6:00am)
Depending on package we choose:
Cost: Estimated $749.00-$825.00 per person (4 in each room)
Chaperones are the same price (4 in each room)
Sibling price: subtract $375.00 off of dancer price (4 in each room)
This covers 4 nights/hotel, 2-day passes to Disney/Universal, Admission into Champs Sports Bowl Game, Souvenir package with DVD and t-shirt, transportation to all events, uniform, breakfast each morning and 2 lunches.
*$150.00 deposit is due on September 1st
We will be fundraising this summer to help offset additional costs to include: transportation to and from Orlando (gasoline), possibly one extra hotel night on Dec 26th, extra meals that are not covered above, any other necessities. WE WILL NOT COVER SOUVENIERS. Any funds left over will be divided up and distributed back to the participants.
Fundraising ideas: Car Wash at Walmart (July or August)
Dance & Crafts Camp at DRHS (August)
Half-time family night (Nov)

*Things to consider – you must commit to the $749.00-$825.00 cost as we will not know until the end of fundraising how much money we will have. Commitment by June 1st. Deposit is due Sept. 1st and balance is due in Nov.
*Must participate in the fundraising events and be willing to distribute flyers in the local neighborhoods.
* Have the girls do their own fundraising, babysitting or work to save up money towards this event.
*We will need parent volunteers to help out at the fundraisers.
