Paul’s Trial Before Felix Acts 24 Paul’s case was presented before Felix. He was referred to as a troublemaker with false accusations of starting riots among the Jews all over the world and desecrating the temple. Paul was able to speak in his own defense. He defended himself in Acts 24:10-21. Governor Felix kept Paul under guard until Lysias the commander got there. Paul was given some freedom and his friends were able to visit and take care of his needs. “The Way” used in Acts 24:14 and other places in the book of Acts refers to believers in Christ. Questions 1. What did Paul say in his own defense (Acts 24:10-21)? 2. What did Paul say that made Felix afraid (Acts 24:25)? 3. How long did Felix leave Paul in jail? Why do you think he kept him in jail for so long without sentencing him?
