CHAPTER 47
This chapter gives information concerning the millenial soil. For example, water flows from the temple to the Dead Sea which brings in new life to Israel. The river that flows from the Millennial Temple is described with different levels of water. Close examination of the passage shows that the water was first ankle deep, then knee deep, waist deep and then enough to swim in (Ezekiel 47:3-5).
Other than the river, land was measured and divided so the 12 tribes could get their allotment in the north, south, east and west.
CHAPTER 48
This chapter gives information concerning the millenial city. We learned in the Book of Revelation that there are 12 gates to the city and each gate has a name of the 12 tribes. The name of the millenial city is "Yahweh-Shammah" which means "The Lord is There."
