CHAPTER 3

Notice the two wishes Job made at the beginning of the chapter.

CHAPTERS 4-5
Notice the first friend to respond. Read what he says in Chapters 4 and 5. He rebukes Job. He makes a case against Job. He accused Job of sinning. He urges Job to bring his case before God.  He exhorts Job to trust that God will heal and protect him once he has punished him.

CHAPTERS 6-7
READ how Job responded to the first friend who spoke. Job argues with his friend. He accuses him of being unreliable. He challenged him to show where Job is guilty.

How does Job describe his life? What does he say about a target?
