GALATIANS - REVIEW
The Way of Life Spiritual Development Center

Now that you have finished all readings and studying all the chapters, these are the things that you should remember.

About Paul
He wrote Galatians before any of the other books.

He used asides.

He used rhetorical questions.

He asked and answered his own questions.

Paul almost never said the name of Jesus without adding at least one title to his name. For instance, he would say Christ Jesus or Lord Jesus Christ.

He was speaking to a mixed group of both males and females. That's why he said, "Brothers and sisters."

He began his book with a prayer and ended it with a prayer.

When you study EPHESIANS, PHILIPPIANS, COLOSSIANS and Paul' other books, remember his style because some of his techniques are in most of his books.

About Galatians
Books Paul wrote to churches are called epistles. Those he wrote to people are called letters. The book of Galatians is an epistle because it was written to the churches of Galatia.

The book is called the Magna Carta of Christian Liberty because Paul taught freedom in Jesus Christ instead of living by the law.

Paul gave Old Testament examples because his readers were familiar with the Old Testament.
