Dear all,
With regards to the Technology Exploration-III End-of-Term exam, please take note of the following:
The exam will have two parts, one for the skills and one for the knowledge.The exam two parts will be conducted as per the exam schedule on Tuesday 26th of June.
75% of the exam mark will be on the skills part while 25% will be dedicated for the knowledge part.
Bring this with you in the examination room, in good condition.
Students will use their MacBook for the skills part. PLEASE BRING YOUR MACBOOK READY FOR THE EXAM ON THE 26TH OF JUNE 2012.
You will be provided with an exam paper for the knowledge part. This will be the written part of your exam.
The time that will be allocated for the skills part is 40 minutes (8:30 AM – 9:10 AM).
20 minutes will be allocated for the knowledge part (9:40 AM – 10:00 AM).
For the skills part, students need to save their work in a folder on their desktop. The folder should be named StudentName_StudentNumber.

Course Description:
This hands-on course introduces students to the features and interface of iLife’09. This course will cover these applications – iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD and iWeb. These applications can be used to create, organize, view and publish digital content, such as pictures, movies, music and web pages.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
Describe the tools that constitute the iLife software suite. Create and enhance digital pictures, videos, and audio using iPhoto, iMovie, and GarageBand. Demonstrate an ability to put digital media contents on DVD, using iDVD Create a basic website using iWeb and publish website using MobileMe.

Edit, Rotate, Crop, Straightening, Retouching and Adjusting Photos. Apply effects to Photos. Publish Photos to an iWeb Web Site. Create Slideshows, Calendars and Greeting Cards. Edit and create movies with iMovie. Edit and enhance audio with Garage Band. Author DVDs with iDVD. Publish a project to the Web using You Tube. Create and Configure a Web Site Add Web Widgets, Movies to Web Pages. Add Hyperlinks to Pages on Web Site. Publish a Website using MobileMe.
