testprince Mrs. Test

We survived the first week of school!  Five days down and 175 to go!  (But who is counting....)  I am very pleased with how well the class is adjusting to fifth grade. They interact well with one another and they stay focussed and on task.  We have 28 students, (11 boys, 17 girls).  I can tell this will be an interesting year!

I hope you find this web site informative and helpful.  I will update this page daily and use this page to: Make announcements Tell about upcoming events List what parents need to complete and send in Keep you updated what is going on in school Talk about what we are studying Give dates for upcoming tests and projects Post each night's homework

I look forward to working with you this year.  This will be a memorable and wonderful year for all fifth graders at Davis Drive!   Feel free to communicate with me through email.

The fifth graders will begin selling Dineamate books for our Washington DC fundraiser Friday, August 18 - September 5.    On Friday, August 18, each student will receive a sample copy and information.  They can take orders for two weeks and then turn the orders in on September 5 and 6. Thank you for your help and support.  Last year we made $9000 selling these books!

Bond Park Picnic:  All the fifth graders and families are invited to attend a picnic at Bond Park on Tuesday, September 6, from 5:00 - dusk in the Kiwanis Shelter.  Each family should bring their own food.  This will be a fun evening to socialize and meet the fifth graders and their families!  Mark your calendar now!!!
