While it is essential to use GMAT-aligned study resources during your preparation, the TCU GMAT prep course is self-contained and no textbook is required.

Regarding quantitative skills - the class content is strategy-focused rather than skills-focused, and if you would like supplementary math content the video links below are a good review of GMAT math (part 2 intentionally begins at 26:42 to skip the geometry content which is no longer on the GMAT syllabus).
