This is your Week 1 page and official study guide for Quiz #1 which will be given at the beginning of next week's class (week 2).
To prepare yourself for the concept portion of the quiz (using the QUIA website), read the following material:
1) Review the Week 1 agenda.
2) Take the practice quiz at the bottom of the page.
NOTE: Each week the Practice Quizzes will be different than the official quizzes for most of the following reasons:
1)You can take the practice quiz anytime/anywhere as long as you can connect to the Internet; you can only take the official quiz in class at the time it is being given -- no re-do's.
2) You can practice taking the practice quiz as many times as needed; you can only take the official quiz once.
3) You will be given feedback on your answers and know what answer should have been chosen; only your score will be provided at the end of the official quiz.
4) The practice quiz is not always timed; the official quiz is timed.
5) The practice quiz has many, many questions; the official quiz will have much fewer questions.
6) On the practice quiz, you can go back and forth between the questions. Whereas, on the official quiz, this option may not be available.
