Please have your child return all library books. *All students are responsible for the library material they borrow and must pay full replacement cost for lost items. She discussed all the wonderful materials, programs, and activities the Johnson City Public Library offers. Media Center Information -All students will have an opportunity to come to the library to check out a book on a regular basis according to their weekly classroom schedule. -Kindergarten students are allowed to check out 1 book for one week. 1st - 5th grade students are allowed to check out 2 books for one week. -All books are due at library time. If a student is not done reading one or more of their books, they may renew them, but in order to do this them must bring the book back to the library so that we may renew it on the computer. -No fines are charged on overdue books. Instead, the student will be unable to check out another book until that one is returned. -All students are responsible for the library material they borrow and must pay full replacement cost for lost items. -If a student is unable to check out a book at library time, they will still be able to participate in story/lesson time. -Reminder notices will be sent home if a student has an overdue book for an extended period of time. *Thank you to Johnson City Press for providing lesson plans and newspapers to our library. *The library welcomes donations of books, videos and DVDs, puzzles, and magazines.
