Bonjour et Bienvenue à la classe de français!!! Je m’appelle Madame Brown. I am so excited that you have chosen to learn French. This year we will learn to speak and understand some French, where French is spoken, and a little about the people who speak it.

Things you need to know for French class:

1. For class you will need a (1 inch) 3 ring binder with dividers and a pen or pencil. You must bring these materials to class everyday.

2. Homework Policy
Home and class work must be completed and turned in ON TIME. You will receive credit for every assignment. All homework is to be placed in your box located in homeroom. No late homework will be accepted. Homework is written on the les devoirs board everyday. It is your responsibility to check the board everyday.

3. Notebooks, (3 ring binders) are expected to be neat and organized. They will be graded every marking period and there will be tests where you can use your binder.

4. ATTENDANCE POLICY
If you are absent, (not in school or at a lesson) YOU are responsible for anything missed during class. (homework, daily notes, quiz/test, etc. . .)
If you are absent, you must check the board at the beginning of class to get the papers from the day before. Make up work is YOUR responsibility.

5. GRADING POLICY
· Homework     25%
· Quizzes     25%
· Tests/Projects 35%
· Participation     15%

6. QUESTIONS???
If you find that you do not understand something, ask questions during class or come see me after class or 8th period.
