-er
Regular -er verbs drop the -er, and add the following endings to the stem -e, -es, -e, -ons, -ez, -ent.
Je parle = I speak, I am speaking, I do speak
Tu parles = You speak, you are speaking, you do speak
Il parle = He speaks, he is speaking, he does speak
Elle parle = She speaks, she is speaking, she does speak
On parle = One speaks, one is speaking, one does speak
Qui parle = Who speaks, who is speaking, who does speak
Nous parlons = We speak, we are speaking, we do speak
Vous parlez = You speak, you are speaking, you do speak
Ils parlent = They speak, they are speaking, they do speak
Elles parlent = They speak, they are speaking, they do speak
-ir
Regular -ir verbs drop the -ir, and add the following endings to the stem -is, -is, -it, -issons, -issez, -issent.
Je finis = I finish, I am finishing, I do finish
Tu finis = You finish, you are finishing, you do finish
Il finit = He finishes, he is finishing, he does finish
Elle finit = She finishes, she is finishing, she does finish
On finit = One finishes, one is finishing, one does finish
Qui finit = Who finishes, who is finishing, who does finish
Nous finissons = We finish, we are finishing, we do finish
Vous finissez = You finish, you are finishing, you do finish
Ils finissent = They finish, they are finishing, they do finish
Elles finissent = They finish, they are finishing, they do finish
-ir verbs that are NOT ir/iss verbs
These verbs have two stems. They have the endings -s, -s. -t, -ons, -ez, -ent. The plural stem includes the consonant preceding the -ir of the infinitive.
Je pars = I leave, I am leaving, I do leave
Tu pars = You leave, you are leaving, you do leave
Il part = He leaves, he is leaving, he does leave
Elle part = She leaves, she is leaving, she does leave
On part = One leaves, one is leaving, one does leave
Nous partons = We leave, we are leaving, we do leave
Vous partez = You leave, you are leaving, you do leave
Ils partent = They leave, they are leaving, they do leave
Elles partent = The leave, they are leaving, they do leave
