This week in science we are reviewing science process skills like observing, classifying, measuring, communicating, inferring, controlling variables, recording data and experimenting.
We will be working in a workbook as a class as we practice these skills.
Students can practice some of these skills by playing the Metric Measurement game. In this way they will be prepared for some of the labs we do later in the year. They can also review the uses and functions of scientific tools by playing the Columns game.
Students will also be given their first out of class project about metric measurements and graphs this week. It will be due Wednesday, August 12, 2009.
