In ICT we learn the skills needed to operate computer software, and we learn the theory behind computer operation. To do this effectively, we need a context for study.

You need to create for yourself a company, a business or a firm.

Your first project is to design the company you will work with all year. Much of this we will do at school with various software programs.  You need to 'create' a mock company. It will need:

1. a name;
2. a product or range of products or a service or a range of services
3. a slogan;
4. a location in the world, including an office address and a postal address;
5. a corporate identity. This includes colours, fonts and a suitable logo. The corporate identity standards will be used to create stationery, web pages, presentations and so on.
6. a staffing plan (how many people, what jobs, what skills)
7. a management diagram (who's in charge of whom)
