Tarea 6-11 el martes (para el miércoles 6-12) cuaderno p90 #7-8
*WOULD (condicional) vs. WOULD (in the past)*
Students often confuse EL IMPERFECTO and EL CONDICIONAL because they are translated in the same way in English, for example: Yo sería una tortuga ... in English is "I would be a turtle..."
And Cuando era niña vistaba a mis abuelos en Téxas cada verano...in English is "When I was a kid, I would visit mis grandparents every summer..."
Both are translated as "would", but are completely different verb tenses and context. That being said, let's get to the homework...
PARTE 1) Lee la oración y, según el contexto, decide si es una situación hipotética (estructura con SI, III) o si es causa y efecto en el futuro (estructura con SI, II) , y conjuga el verbo correctamente.
PARTE 2) “Would (¿condicional?)” o “Would (¿en el pasado/imperfecto?)”. Decide si es algo condicional, o si simplemente habla del pasado y acciones que continuaban en el pasado y escribe el verbo entre parenteses en el CONDICIONAL o el PASADO IMPEFECTO (-aba, abas.... -ía, ías...).
***(If you struggle with verb tenses you should review the power point on the Schoology class page with notes from today! It will help you recall/review the future tense, conditional tense, imperfect, and imperfect past subjunctive which we'll be using as we review hypothetical situations.)***
