Superlatives and Comparatives

A superlative adjective compares more than two things. Add -est to an adjective with one syllable, or use the word most before an adjective of two or more syllables. (deepest, most frigid) A comparative adjective compares two things. Add -er to an adjective with one syllable, or use the word more before an adjective of two or more syllables.
