L23c transitive and intransitive verbs
Choose the correct verbs. When you submit the answers, you will see the translations and some explanations.
General rules:
1. If a pair of verbs (dictionary forms) differ only as to the choice of the vowel between e and a, the one having a is always intransitive. This is because "a" is associated with "aru," a quintessential intransitive verb.
2. If one of the paired verbs ends with su, it is always transitive. This is because "su" is associated with "suru," a quintessential transitive verb.
