LFA Mandarin II Placement Test

Please complete the test without any help whatsoever! Do not refer to any textbooks, dictionaries, computers, or websites of any kind! It is in your best interest that we get an accurate idea of your Mandarin ability, in order to place you in the right section. Remember you can only take this test ONCE. Do not attempt to take it more than once, as you will be disqualified.

In the short answer and writing sections, you are required to type characters. Before you start the test, make sure you can type Chinese characters on your computer.
