World History B - Semester 1 PowerPoint Project - due by 1/31/11

You are to create a 10 slide PowerPoint Presentation worth 100 points.
In this project, you will select a topic of choice from any of the lessons that we have covered so far in the course. You will conduct an in-depth research on the topic. You will use the information you gather to create a PowerPoint presentation to express what you have learned. Make sure that you present detailed, organized information.
The PowerPoint presentation must include the following:
1. At least 10 slides to illustrate your information
2. Each slide contains at least one graphic or picture and vary the transitions between slides to create interest
3. Information included must be written in your own words
4. Introduction slide with name, course name, and assignment name
5. Works cited slide (please refer to the directions for formatting your works cited)
6. You must upload your final presentation and attach it to a kmail. Please use the subject “Semester 1 Project”.
7. Please send your final presentation to your history teacher by January 31, 2011.
8. Use the rubric to guide you through this project. It is the file that is attached.
