GT 16 Homework- Compound-Complex sentences and pronoun-antecedents (Feb. 27- March 2, 8:10 a.m.)

Compound-complex sentences have two independent clauses and at least one subordinate/dependent clause. It's easy to spot a compound sentence by looking for a comma + a coordinating conjunction or a semi-colon-- remember there has to be an independent clause on either side of the conjunction or the semi-colon. Use your adjective and adverb clause notes in doing this.

Remember: Pronouns must match their antecedents in number and gender. Antecedent is the word or words that the pronoun refers to; there may be a sentence that doesn't have an antecedent! Use your pronoun-antecedent notes.
