Comparing Block
In this investigation you will be observing blocks made of different materials - plastic, wood and metal. The blocks used in the first 3 parts of the investigation are all the same size - with only some slight variations. The blocks used for part 4 are different sizes.
Pine - light colored wood
Oak - dark colored wood
PVC - black plastic
Acrylic - See thru clear plastic
Polypropylene - opaque plastic (white-ish)
Aluminum - shiny silver metal
Brass - gold colored metal
Copper - orange (copper) colored metal
Steel - dull darker silver metal
