Case Scenario: 52 yo male SCDHHS Medicaid CPT: 78813 PET Imaging; whole body ICD-9: 162.9 Malignant neoplasm of trachea, bronchus, and lung; Bronchus and lung, unspecified Clinical: LOV: 1-12-12 Reason: Restaging Cell type/stage/mets: Lunch CA (NSCLC) stage T3N0M0 DOD: 9-9-11 Tx: XRT completed 1-12-12 Surg Resection Prior imaging: PET/CT 10-11-11 - Impression: large (R) apical lung mass demonstrated. Peripheral soft tissue nodularity w/marked FDG activity @ these locations, only it is most evident that its superior-most portion of any of these nodules could be targeted for rpt bx. There is no uptake within the mass centrally, no PET findings of METS, questionable invasion of the superior mediastinal, no destruction of the underlying bone. PE: Unknown S/Sx: None Labs: None
