SYNCHROTRON PRACTICAL REPORT
This practical report contains the questions from the Synchrotron booklet, and as such REPLACES the booklet, which you do not need to complete.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. The pictures & screenshots included with each question are visuals only. You should at all stages be analysing data in your ACTUAL SPREADSHEET, not the graphs etc shown in Quia.
2. THE MAGENTA TAB of the spreadsheet (Emission Spectra) does NOT need to be completed.
3. There are SEVERAL QUESTIONS which are marked SPREADSHEET Q - NOTHING TO COMPLETE IN QUIA. These remind you to complete parts of your spreadsheet. There is NOTHING TO COMPLETE in the Quia task itself even though there is an answer box. Such questions have been created in Quia simply so that your spreadsheet results and marks can be recorded in one simple location. As long as you complete the spreadsheet requirements you can leave the Quia answer boxes blank for these questions.
I suggest you have the Quia task and the spreadsheet both open, then simply complete this task online, complete the spreadsheet tasks as asked for and then EMAIL your completed Synchrotron spreadsheet to dkrosby@mesc.vic.edu.au.
When the spreadsheet and Quia task are both marked, you will receive detailed feedback on all parts of the task through Quia.
