Then and Than
Here is my trick for remembering the difference between Then and Than. Then always refers to "Time" . Then is used for telling a sequence of events in time. Time has the letter E on the end. Then uses the same letter E. Than is used for "Comparisons". Comparisons has the letter A in it and so does "Than". So if you need a word to describe a time sequence, think of the E in time. If you are making a comparison, think of the A in comparison.
