Temperature Conversions
Convert the temperatures to Celsius or Fahrenheit and write the numeral. Use your warm up notes for the formulas. Round to the nearest whole number. It is best to practice doing this by hand and/or with a calculator. You will see or hear it on an assessment and will not be allowed access to any tools. This is critical thinking. When writing your answer, follow this example: 290 grados Celsius or 1 grado Fahrenheit. Remember to capitalize Celsius and Fahrenheit. If it is a negative number, just write a -(hyphen key) in front of the answer and do not hit the space bar. Write your numbers properly with commas, if needed.
As you work on this, remember that these temperatures are not just about the body and weather. They are also about cooking, melting metals, etc. Think about when you've watched or heard something about the temperature at which something melts or is malleable.
