Example#1
A- ¿Dónde(where) buscaste(looked for) los carros?
B- ___ busqué en el parque.
The answer is "los" becuase the direct object is "los carros." To replace "los carros" we use "lo" as the direct object pronoun.
Example #2
A- ¿Tú me escuchas?
B- Sí, yo ___ escucho.
The answer is "te" becuase person "A" is asking a question. Person "B" is responding and the "tú" form is used. So we use "te"
