Total Knee arthroplasty -CPT 27447
76 y/o M presented with complaint of severe right knee pain, stiffness and limping for the last 6 months.
There is no reported documentation of prior treatments.
Physical examination revealed restricted ROM with joint effusion and crepitation and an antalgic gait.
Xrays revealed marked and advanced OA with complete loss of joint space in all 3 compartments, osteophytes and sclerosis.
A request was made for right total knee arthroplasty.
