Pt is a 63 year old male who c/o severe R hip pain x 1 year. Pt has constant pain, has trouble walking, pain wakes him sleeping.
PE: BMI 24. Right hip shows limited ROM compared to left, along with pain with passive ROM. Patient walks with antalgic gait.
No infection, rapidly progressing neuro disease, skeletal immaturity, or other contraindication to surgery.
Conservative tx- Percocet, bracing, rest, decrease activity, PT and HEP x 4/27/16-present.
10/2/16 X-ray R Hip: Mild OA.
