Q3 - 2 Earthquakes from Faults (from Q2-7 faults quiz)

Directions: Read each question carefully. Questions are based on Q2-7 Tuiz. They may not be exactly the same so put your brain in gear and answer what you KNOW, not answers that you memorized. Please Read: During an April 1815 eruption, a volcano ejected billions of tons of gas and debris into the atmosphere. Much of the heavier ash and debris fell on the islands around Tambora, but a significant amount wound up in the atmosphere, spreading around the world and partially blotting out the sun for months after the event. The eruption itself killed tens of thousands—if not hundreds of thousands—of people in the resulting pyroclastic flows, choking ashfalls, and tsunamis. This is known as the Year Without a Summer and caused world-wide famine.
