Space Science

Space science is a very interesting subject. Astronauts and astrologists seem to spend hours and hours studying space each day. Planets, stars, satellites, space ships, and even airplanes are fascinating topics that they research. Have you ever seen the inside of a space museum? Have you ever stayed out at night to study the stars and moon?

The world where we live is called the planet Earth. Earth is located in our solar system that has other planets and moons along with Earth. The moons revolve around their respective planet and the planets revolve around the sun. The sun is a very big star made with burning gases. The planets include the Earth, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune.

Our solar system is changing as stars as well as land masses develop and diminish. What we know today is different from what was learned many years ago. What we understand many years from now will also be different.
