Señora Weir's breaks down of the lesson...
The present progressive is the helping verb is/are + "ing" ending on
2nd verb

To form it drop "ar" from an ar verb and add "ando"
To form it drop the er/ir verb add "iendo"
To form an er irregular verb such as "leer" and "traer" add "ir" "yendo"

estar + ando/iendo/yendo

Singular verbs
Yo estoy-I am
Tú estás-You are (inf.)
Él/Ella/está-You (f.) are/is

Plural
Nosotros/as-estamos
Vosotros/as/Ustededes estáis
Ellos/as/Ustedes-están

Exceptions are a few stem changes as discussed in the lessons
such as the verb decir, mentir, leer, trar, ir etc.

Obviously preterite progressive past can be used instead of the present tense called past progressive, or even two verbs the direct object that has two options in the front or in the back. For purposes of this review you will add wherever the directions tell you. :)
Yo estuve
Tú estuviste
Él/Ella/Usted estuvo

Nosotros/as estuvimos
Vosotros/as estuvisteis
Ellos/as/Ustedes estuvieron
