Identifying Sentence Problems
Each sentence MAY contain a sentence error. Below I've outlined the types of errors for which you should be looking.
FRAGMENT: missing the subject/verb or does NOT express a complete thought
RUN-ON/FUSED: two sentences are "fused together" without any punctuation
COMMA SPLICE: two sentences are incorrectly "spliced" by a comma and NO CONJUNCTION
CHOPPY: A series of very short or "choppy" sentences that should be combined. You have a series of sentences. They are short. They are choppy. They are mechanical. They are boring to read. Fix them.
