Declaration of Independence PROJECT 2020... E-LEARNING

For each number/section:

1.Include 5 difficult words from each specific Declaration section... with a easer word to the right of the difficult word...find new and easier words from an online THESAURUS. Remember, the words should be user friendly to a child.

2. Type two of the most difficult lines from the specific Declaration section: Not a sentence, a line!!!! Left to right is one line and doesn't necessarily have a punctuation mark at the end of it (Period, Comma, exclamation point, colon, semi-colon).

3. Underneath each of the difficult lines, create a new line which simplifies the syntax (sentence structure) and diction (word choice). They do not have to include the 5 difficult words from number 1 if they are not in your 2 difficult chosen lines....However, I would suggest that you use an online thesaurus for new diction.

Each of the 4 sections from The Declaration must include the above 3 requirements. In simplifying this wonderful document, you will gain a great understanding of it...and also the literary words known as SYNTAX and DICTION.

**50 points per section.

*Section 1: The Preamble: Page 112: The first paragraph.

*Section 2: The Declaration of National Rights: Pg. 112. Lines 8-31
*Section 3: The List of Grievances: Pg113-115
*Section 4: The Resolution of Independence. Everything on pg. 116
