Adverbs
Remember adjectives describe nouns and adverbs describe verbs. In Spanish you can turn many adjectives into adverbs by adding -mente. The -mente equivalent is -ly in English. (For example perezoso means lazy so perezosamente means lazily.) If it is an adjective that ends in an o, make it feminine first (change it an a) and then add the mente. (Example - perezoso becomes perezosa and then add -mente = perezosamente.) If it ends in anything other than o, just add -mente. (Example: simple becomes simplemente)
