ESIA Russian Diagnostic Exam for IAFF 6504 Part 1 - Grammar/Vocabulary/Functional Knowledge

If you have taken this test before, do not attempt it again unless more than two months has passed.

This test is designed to give you a ballpark idea about the state of your spoken Russian, even though it is not a speaking test.

The test consists of 90 items and is timed to 90 minutes.

IMPORTANT! Do not seek outside help, either from reference works or friends! There’s no point to “cheating,” since this is only a diagnostic. If you get outside help, you’ll only skew your score and get an inaccurate snapshot of your language skills.

At the end of your test, your score will be reported to you. Make note of the percent correct.
