Portuguese Placement Test **Draft IST**

This test consists of two parts. It is timed. You have a total of 80 minutes to complete the two parts.

Part 1 consists of 45 multiple-choice grammar questions. You should spend maximally 45 minutes on this section.

Part 2 consists of 5 texts and 15 multiple-choice questions. You should spend maximally 35 minutes on this section.

Do not use any reference works while taking the test. At the end of your test, your score will be reported to you. Use the following scale to interpret your score:
