2106 English Grammar
Complete lesson 31: “Pronominal Adjectives” (these are adjectives that modify nouns but they would take the place of the noun and become pronouns if the noun they modify were not in the sentence. Example: Is this book yours? Is this yours? In the first question this modifies the noun book. In the second sentence this replaces the word book, therefore in the first sentence this is an adjective in the second it is a pronoun. English Grammar and Composition, by G. H.
