1. It is recommended that you use word processing software to prepare your answers and later paste it into the assessment site to prevent accidental loss of work.
2. Any use of generative artificial intelligence in the completion of your exam is considered a violation of the assessment process. Access to any sources other than the reference documents provided (e.g., other reference documents, applications, internet sites, or other) is not permitted when completing the test. Should the selection committee suspect the use of generative artificial intelligence, or the use of other sources, your candidacy may be subject to immediate disqualification.
3. Attention to Detail and Written Communication are to be assessed throughout the exam.
The exam is to assess the following qualifications:
Knowledge of Government of Canada environmental protection and environmental health, policies and standards
Ability to synthesize relevant information from sources such as legislation, technical reports or databases
Ability to analyze situations and make sound recommendations
Ability to communicate effectively in writing
Attention to Detail
You will have three (3) hours to write the exam.
