AP LANG/COMP Q3 in Q3: Timed Write
This timed write mirrors the synthesis question for the AP exam.
Your essay will be graded using the synthesis question rubric from AP.
Use your Toulmin notes and your annotated bibliography to write your essay.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Your essay should have an introduction, body, and conclusion. Use the five paragraph essay model as a minimal guide.
2. Your essay should have a clear, defensible claim that addresses your selected prompt (defend, refute, qualify).
3. Your essay must reference at least three sources from your annotated bibliography within your essay. Reference more sources as needed. You do not have to include formal in-text citations. Just make it clear in the most simple way possible which sources you are referencing.
NOTE: On the AP exam, sources are labeled A, B, C, D, E, etc. and you only have to say, "According to source A" or use an in-text citation such as (Source A) following your reference to that source.
Once you proceed to the quiz, your time will begin.
You have 60 minutes to complete this essay.
