JFYP 2 Lesson 24 - Task 15
A is presented with the menu below that lists a number of traditional Japanese dishes. Unsure of what exactly each dish may be, A hen asks B to explain using the pattern, [~って何ですか]. B then reads out the explanation given below and A writes the names of each dish with the most appropriate picture.
To enter your answers in 仮名(ひらがな)copy them from your Japanese word processor and paste them into the answer box.
Here is a list of discriptions for the various Japanese dishes: how to answer correctly.
1. さしみ ー thin-sliced raw fish
2. てんどん ー bowl of rice, topped with tempura and seasoned with a special sauce
3. のりまき ー roll of sushi covered with nori (wafer of dried seaweed)
4. うなじょう ー a lacquer box of rice, topped with seasoned eel
5. おにぎり ー rice ball sometimes covered with nori (wafer of dried seaweed)
6. やきとり ー barbecued chicken skewer
7. かつどん ー bowl of rice, topped with pork cutletsoup noodle, topped with deep-fried bean-curd
8. きつねうどん ー soup noodle, topped with deep-fried bean-curd
